From Lucy’s notebook

A Dublin café with
its heart in Ukraine.

Lucy grew from the food Mykola and Viktoriia remembered from home: recipes passed through family kitchens, made by hand and brought to a new neighbourhood.

1,500

Made by hand, every week

Folded one
memory at a time.

The team makes more than 1,500 varenyky each week — a quiet, repetitive craft that connects the café to generations of home cooks.

Mykola, Viktoriia & Lucy

The name came
from family.

The café is named for Mykola’s grandmother, Lucy. Her food and the hands of the family’s nonnas sit behind the idea: generous Ukrainian cooking, shared in Dublin.
